My observations-
I visited there in the month of April, on the two wheeler from the nearest town Karnprayag (Chamoli district), which is around 24 KMS from there and takes around 1 hour to reach the temple.
The road leads to the temple is almost good but there are a few watery patches on the roads. It was a little cold at that time, on the way to the nanda devi temple as it is on the height of the mountains, I have seen some of the beautiful himalayan Range peaks, which made my journey more beautiful.
When I reached the temple I found a cold breez touching my heart, The place was full of peace & Silence, the only voice I could hear was the sound of wind coming from the Big tree of Apricot in the temple compound.
The temple is painted outside with the "Maa nanda devi" and "the latu devtaa"(The brother of the Devi), these pictures have a different kind of positivity which attracts us more and more, I sat there for some time and did the meditation in the temple compound, which seriously made me feel the energies and the grace of goddess Maa Nanda Devi.
I hope this little information help you to know about the place!
